Cookie policy

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include pixels, local storage and software development kits. They help a website function, remember your choices and understand how the site is used. This policy explains what we use and the choices you have.

The cookies we use

Strictly necessary. These are required for the Service to work, for example to keep your session active, to carry your access token securely between pages, to remember that you have acknowledged the disclaimer, and to process your order and payment. The Service cannot function properly without these, so they do not require consent.

Preferences. These remember choices you make, such as a filter or sort setting on your results, so the experience feels consistent when you return.

Analytics. These help us understand, in aggregate, how the site is used, for example which pages are viewed and whether features work, so we can improve the Service. We use analytics information in aggregated form that does not identify you.

Advertising. We use the Meta Pixel, an advertising technology from Meta Platforms, on our public website pages and our free Bellamy Discovery quiz. It tells Meta when one of those pages is viewed, when the free quiz is completed and when a purchase is made, so we can measure our ads on Facebook and Instagram and show them to people likely to find Bellamy useful. Meta may combine this with information it already holds about you under its own privacy policy. We never send your quiz answers, your assessment responses or any of your results to Meta, and the Meta Pixel does not run on the assessment itself or on your results pages.

Your choices

Consent. Where the law requires it, including in the European Union, the European Economic Area, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, we ask for your consent before setting advertising cookies. Elsewhere, advertising cookies are on by default and you can turn them off. Either way, you can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page that uses them.

Browser controls. Most browsers let you see the cookies you have, block or delete them, and set preferences for future cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Service from working.

Global privacy signals. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a choice to turn advertising cookies off, and the Meta Pixel does not load.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our use of cookies changes. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above.
